What TradieMate is

TradieMate AI is an introduction and scheduling platform. We help Australian residents find and contact local tradies, and we help tradies capture enquiries, qualify leads, draft quotes and manage bookings. We are not a marketplace that sells goods, an employment agency, a payment provider, or a party to any contract between you and a tradie.

Who you are

These terms apply to everyone using TradieMate AI: residents looking for a tradie, and tradies offering services. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

Payment is directly between you and the tradie

During Beta, TradieMate AI does not take, hold, process, transfer, refund or mediate any payment. The resident and the tradie agree a price, and the resident pays the tradie directly after the work is completed, using the tradie's own payment method.

• The tradie issues any receipt or tax invoice directly.
• If a refund is needed, the tradie handles it directly with the resident.
• TradieMate AI does not guarantee payment, chase debts, or recover money on anyone's behalf.

Any price or estimate shown in the app is an advisory draft prepared by AI and approved by the tradie. The final price is agreed between you and the tradie.

Booking holds

When you request a booking, TradieMate AI checks the tradie's availability and places a 15-minute hold on your chosen time so no one else can take it while you confirm. This is a time-only hold — no money is taken or held. If you don't confirm within 15 minutes, the hold lapses and the slot becomes available again.

Your responsibilities

As a resident:

• Give accurate job details, including the address and a description of the work.
• Be available at the agreed time, or let the tradie know as early as possible if plans change.
• Pay the tradie directly as agreed — TradieMate AI cannot help recover unpaid work.

As a tradie:

• Keep your licence, insurance and service-area details accurate and up to date.
• Manage your own availability and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Collect payment, issue receipts and handle any refunds directly with your customer.

Verification of tradies

TradieMate AI asks tradies to provide licence and insurance details and may show their verification status on their profile. We do not warrant that any tradie is licensed, insured, qualified or suitable for your job. You remain responsible for satisfying yourself before work starts.

Acceptable use

• Don't use TradieMate AI for anything unlawful or misleading.
• Don't post content that isn't yours, or that is abusive, discriminatory or harassing.
• Don't try to bypass payment of any fees the platform charges for its own services (separate from tradie payment).

No guarantee of outcomes

TradieMate AI provides tools to help residents and tradies find each other and stay organised. We do not guarantee that a tradie will accept a job, that a booking will proceed, or that any work will be completed to a particular standard. The contract for work is between you and the tradie.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Beta progresses. We'll show the date above so you can tell when something changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
